Ingredients:

1 1/2 to 2 (1.5-2) pounds vegetarian ground beef (ground beef for non-vegetarians)

1 large onion, diced or minced (minced onion is fine)

3 garlic cloves, mashed (garlic powder is okay)

3 Tbsp. Chili Powder

1 Tbsp. Oregano Leaves

1 1/2 (1.5) tsp. salt (celery salt and/or garlic salt is fine)

1 tsp. black pepper

1 tsp. paprika

1 tsp. allspice

1 tsp. celery seed

1/2 (0.5) tsp. cumin

1/2 (0.5) tsp. cinnamon

2 Tbsp. yellow mustard

2 Tbsp. Cider vinegar

1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce

1 cup of ketchup or tomato paste (Red Gold Tomatoes is recommended)

2 cups water

In a large skillet, cook onion and garlic until soft.

Brown vegetarian beef.

Stir in chili powder, oregano, paprika, allspice, celery seed, cumin, cinnamon, salt, and pepper.

Mix in the mustard, vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, ketchup (or tomato paste), and water

Reduce heat and allow the sauce to cook uncovered for 45-60 minutes (3/4 to 1 hour), stirring occasionally, until thickened and flavors meld.
