Ava opens the episode and tells viewers about some visible changes that have occurred during Season 10. She tells viewers about her new thumbnails and new opening intro and outro, explaining changes to the show’s production crew, with Ava confirming Karly Jameson’s promotion to co‑executive producer and newest producer Lanise McClanahan joining Maribel Mort.
Ava then tells viewers about her enrollment with Indiana University Online. She is wearing IU gear because Ava mentions she’s donated her Purdue Fort Wayne merchandise to storage until 2028 at the earliest. During the episode, Ava promotes several Indiana‑based companies like Aunt Millie’s Bakery, Sunbeam Bread, Weaver Popcorn, Amish Country Popcorn, and Red Gold Tomatoes.
Afterwards Ava briefly tours her living room, showing her recently built TV stand with a paused Mike Post playing. Caprice and Ella briefly appear as Ava continues tidying up.
The majority of the episode is about Ava attending IU Online and going over her ASL class at Ivy Tech. Ava says she’s doing great with good grades as well as progressing. Ava gives an update about her wrongful suspension with Purdue Fort Wayne, claiming that a settlement is coming soon and her therapists have verified she was wrongfully suspended.
Later Ava shows off a device that is supposed to help people with sleep apnea.
The episode ends with Ava at the field segment recorded at the Waynedale Kroger on Bluffton Road while Ava is picking up prescriptions. Ava tells viewers that she shops at that Kroger because Perla Nieto (who died in December 2023), a cashier who worked at the store for 30+ years, was the one who welcomed Ava to Fort Wayne back in episode 207. Ava included a news clip from “Securi-Fascism” about Nieto’s death.
The episode ends with Ava saying she now lives back on the south side of Fort Wayne and is saving money on groceries at Kroger.
